Satisfaction guarantee
Our satisfaction guarantee is in fact a guarantee for a Perfect Fit.
MyOnlineTailor suits and shirts are hand-made by experienced tailors, based on the measurements, styles, choice of fabrics, and options you supply. Follow our measurement instructions carefully and the clothes should fit - perfectly. However, sometimes items may need to be adjusted and so MyOnlineTailor offers a perfect fit guarantee by the following two options
- Local tailor adjustments: If you feel not comfortable with the fit of the clothes we manufactured for you, you are entitled to have your garment(s) changed by a local tailor of your choice. For this option the following rules apply:
- All products that clearly state the warranty in the individual product listing qualify for this guarantee. If it is not mentioned in the listing then the fit guarantee is not applicable. This does not mean we will not take notice of your problem. Just contact us and we will do our utmost to find a solution for your problem.
- Also garments bought at the advertised price unless agreed upon in writing will qualify for our fit guarantee. This relates to negotiated prices including any package deals unless clearly stated in the listing.
- The necessary alterations cannot be seen as an incorrect perfect fit but more as a nip/tuck adjustment to get that slightly better fit you desire
When the above mentioned criteria are met we advise you to take the following actions
1. Take your garments to any local tailor.
2. Ask the tailor to do new measurements
3. Have the necessary adjustments made within 15 days after receiving your order.
4. Get a receipt from the tailor!
We will compensate you for the cost of the tailor as follows
• Complete suit - Max 30 USD
• Jacket - Max 20 USD
• Trousers – Max 10 USD
Any costs exceeding these amounts are at your own expense. To claim an adjustment refund:
E-mail the receipt, including the new measurements and your order number.
2. If necessary small adjustments are not possible you may claim a redo of your product(s). To claim a remake the following conditions apply:
- This redo should be the first order that requires a complete makeover based on your specifications.
- The product needs to be altered by more than 4 cm to qualify. There is a lot of room for interpretation in suit measurements but if a suit simply doesn’t fit it obviously requires major rework. Minor changes are subject to the conditions in the first item mentioned above ..
- We select where the work is done. We have arrangements and can have alterations done far cheaper than you can. Due to the specialised tailoring that goes into our higher priced fully hand-stitched suits it is unlikely these suits can be altered successfully locally and need to be sent to specialist coat-makers or back to the original tailors.
- Have your local tailor, at customer expense, fill in measurement adjustments on the measurement form that you can find on our website and send this form by email to us. If this form is not used, we at MyOnlineTailor will be unable to provide you with the proper perfect fit for your products.
- After getting the remake approved by MyOnlineTailor, please send the garments you want replaced to our factory within 7 days. This shipment will be paid for by you as customer (unless the redo is neccesary due to mistakes from myonlinetailor). Remember to include a hard copy of the filled in adjustment form.
Option 2 only applies when My Online Tailor made mistakes in tailorting according to measurements provided by you. Option 1 applies on all first orders.
We strongly recommend that you update your measurement profile with the adjusted measurements as mentioned above. This way the measurement profile will contain the correct measurements next time you order from MyOnlineTailor
